About Us
Caitlin and Lewis founded Sit'N'Stay in March 2023 after working closely with a dog behaviourist for just over a year, running the group walks and daycare. We started dog boarding in our home in October 2022 and have loved every minute of it, so much so that we wanted to expand our services in our local area of Kirkliston and surrounding areas!
We have both got life long experience with a range of different breeds. Lewis having grown up with working Terriers, Lurchers and Sighthounds. Caitlin grew up with rescue German Shepherds and found a passion for dog training. Devoting her spare time and following not far behind, her career involving walking, training and caring for other peoples dogs.
Caitlin holds an Interactive Play Instructor certificate attained through Ogilvie Dogs with trainer Craig as well as attaining CPD certificates through Canine Principles for Loose Lead Walking, Canine Communication, Canine Fear, Canine Resource Guarding & Canine Desensitisation and Counter-Conditioning. We both strive to cater for each individual dogs needs and focus on building a healthy and strong bond with your dog.
We have a young Manchester Terrier who we have trained from a puppy. He is a big part of our life and is just as much part of the team as we are!
We come with a fully kitted out van, fully insulated and ventilated with custom built in crates. Each dog will have their own crate space.
We are fully licensed, Canine First Aid trained, insured and Disclosure Scotland checked.
